Description
Currently, when setting messages to exploding, the setting is persistent. I'd like there to be a checkbox one must click in order to make the setting persistent, making the default being that the exploding setting is temporary. Only the next message will be exploding and then it resets back to not exploding.
The way it's currently implemented can cause someone to make a mistake, not realizing that they've set the message to exploding and accidentally erase important information, or send a quick message then log off for a friend to see and then not realize the message was exploding, etc.

Research direction
Start by locating the client code that controls the exploding-message setting and its reset behavior. Trace how the setting is stored and applied when sending a message, then check the relevant client tests if present. Done means exploding messages are temporary by default, while an explicit checkbox preserves the setting.
