MacOS app's "Report a Bug" menu might encourage duplicates

The 'report a bug' menu option in the Mac GUI app just opens a new bug report. There's no encouragement to search for similar bugs first. Perhaps the autofilled text could be more verbose, or perhaps GitHub bug report templates could be used. As a user, searching for a bug report similar to the issue I'm experiencing is very difficult: there are 1955 open issues right now and I had to do some pretty sophisticated searching to find issues related to mine. Perhaps this is a result of too many bug reports; as a casual observer I'm not sure whether there are a lot of duplicates or not, but at 1995 open issues it's probably hard not to file duplicates.
