Description
On Windows, opening the `K:` drive yielded the following:

* The drive showed a capacity of 10GB, none of which was used. (Not in this screenshot.)
* The drive contained a single file, `kbfs.error`, which contained the string `"md-server: EOF"`.
* Logging out and logging back in fixed the problem and mounted the drive correctly, and as such this issue is already solved, but it is a bug that exists. Feel free to close this issue.

Research direction
Start with the Windows K: drive mount behavior described here and investigate the reported kbfs.error file containing "md-server: EOF"; the issue does not name a source file or test. Reproduce the failed mount if possible, then verify that the drive mounts correctly without kbfs.error.
