Description

I get this error when installing or updating without running the program as an admin:

Manually downloading the latest release and installing as an Administrator works fine, but obviously, automatic updates don't work, and I seem to get those daily. The installer should ask for Administrator permissions via UAC if that's required.

I'm running Windows Server 2016 1607. Log attached below.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the attached Keybase_20180222161354.log and reproducing installation or automatic update on Windows Server 2016 without administrator privileges. Compare that behavior with the successful administrator-run installation; done means the updater handles the required UAC elevation and automatic updates no longer fail.
