Description
- There doesn't seem to be a way to disable the auto-updater popups.
- The update process requires multiple clicks with downtime in between to actually install the new version. This causes multiple interruptions.
- There doesn't seem to be an option to automatically allow updates.
Keybase is a very cool and worthwhile concept, but I'm concerned that this amount of annoyance will cause users to uninstall the desktop portion (I know I've come close a few times). The updates are currently quite distracting for an app that the average person probably doesn't use on a frequent basis.

Research direction
Start by tracing the desktop auto-updater flow and its popup and installation steps. Review how update prompts, automatic approval, and restart timing are currently handled; done means the interruption behavior is configurable and the update process no longer requires repeated manual steps or avoidable downtime.
