Description

Inner if statements do not trigger desired rerun of simulation

"This check looks like we only rewrite the files when we change the number of events per job? So if we just change the type of particles they are not written?"

Research direction

The issue provides no file, test, or entry point; begin by locating the inner conditionals that handle event simulation jobs and file rewriting. Check the cases where the event count stays the same, the particle type changes, or a job crashes, and verify that the simulation is rerun and its files are updated in each required case.
