Description

Currently we are flying somewhat blind as most of our models do not have any form of automated tests in the repository. It would be nice to have some simple automated tests that at least ensure that the models can be loaded properly and that they can also be used at least on a technical level. We probably will not have access to enough resources for going through any form of actual physics validation.

Research direction

No files, tests, or entry points are identified in the issue. Review linked pull request #17 first, then determine how CI should load the models and exercise them at a technical level without physics validation; done means those runtime checks execute successfully in CI.
