Description

***In GitLab by @terceiro on Jun 1, 2021, 12:33 GMT+1:***

in order to properly tests docker and podman on ci, we need to be able to run tests directly on a VM (and not in container inside a VM).

Research direction

The issue asks for a libvirt-based GitLab Runner so Docker and Podman tests run directly on a VM rather than inside a container. Start by reviewing the repository's existing CI configuration and the migrated GitLab issue; done means the runner is configured and those tests execute successfully on the VM.
