Commit selector not showing for some hardware

It only shows one commit but you can select a single tree, go back one commit, and there will be results for it

Reproduce the problem at the linked hardware dashboard URL, checking the commit selector and the results shown after moving back one commit. Trace the dashboard code responsible for loading hardware results and commit choices; done means the selector exposes the available commits for this hardware and selecting one shows its results.
