Empty log with Ubuntu 13.04

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start logkeys (sudo logkeys -su)

The file /var/log/logkeys.log should have the log data, but it is empty

I have version 0.1.1a and I'm using Ubuntu 13.04. This issue was not present in
Ubuntu 12.04.

Reproduce the reported command, sudo logkeys -su, on Ubuntu 13.04 and inspect whether /var/log/logkeys.log remains empty. Compare the behavior with Ubuntu 12.04 and version 0.1.1a; done when log data is written as expected.
