* 68f4e2ec5c1d473670479e744c1e2f3dead61948 has an [example](http://www.scipy-lectures.org/advanced/interfacing_with_c/interfacing_with_c.html) calling a C/C++ function via cython
* It utilized NumPy so could be beneficial in the long run
* However, it seems too complicated
* C/C++ function without NumPy?
