Convert from makefile to grunt?

This is just a suggestion, but one of the things I don't like about using makefiles is how it's sort of yet another syntax/pseudo-language to understand, and another tool to install (and a particularly annoying one for Windows folks). At [empirejs](http://empirejs.org/) someone gave a presentation on [grunt](http://gruntjs.com/), which is a node-based alternative to makefiles... While I didn't attend the session, I thought it might be useful to take a look at, since it's more in the vein of the other tools we're using.

Anyways, just a thought, not really urgent or anything.
