npm published version is wrong?

There's a difference from the latest version published to npm versus the latest master version. I'm assuming it's not intentional so I wanted to give you a heads up.

In the meantime I'm installing via GitHub URL to make sure I have the latest.

Compare the version published on npm with the latest master revision and inspect the package's release metadata and publishing entry points. Done means determining whether the mismatch is intentional and, if not, identifying the release change needed to make npm reflect the intended master version.
