Description

When searching for OpenCV wrappers for JS, I came across two packages:

- [opencv4nodejs (this one)](https://www.npmjs.com/package/opencv4nodejs)
- [node-opencv](https://www.npmjs.com/package/opencv)

What are the differences between the two packages / what should I be using? My use case specifically is integrating this with [rosnodejs](http://wiki.ros.org/rosnodejs) to use the [Kalman Filter Method](https://docs.opencv.org/trunk/dd/d6a/classcv_1_1KalmanFilter.html)

Crossissued in [node-opencv](https://github.com/peterbraden/node-opencv/issues/645)

Research direction

Start by comparing the linked opencv4nodejs and node-opencv package documentation, then review the cross-issued node-opencv issue and the referenced rosnodejs and OpenCV KalmanFilter materials. Done means documenting the meaningful differences and a supported recommendation for this ROS and Kalman-filter use case.
