Extensions compatibility for notebook 7

> This is similar to https://github.com/jupyterlab/jupyterlab/issues/14590. But some of the JupyterLab extensions will not be ported to Notebook 7 (due to UI differences).

This is a community effort tracking extension ecosystem migration to help developers exchange notes and let users know what is the current status of the extension compatibility.
