Description
I am using a GPU node of my university via ssh.
Installed jupyter-notebook on the node and working on it by creating an interactive session (-X).
The problem is that the notebook interface is extremely slow, basically lagging.
Its not a problem of my laptop, it's the same with other systems as well.
Since I am a newbie, I don't know in which direction should I go for finding the solution

Research direction
No repository file, test, or code entry point is identified. Start by reproducing the notebook interface through the GPU node over SSH with the interactive -X session, compare it across systems, and gather enough environment and launch details to identify whether the lag is in Jupyter or the remote connection.
