Feature Request: Ability to export to server rather than client.

I use Jupyter on a cluster, as I think more people are all the time. I would like to be able to export files (such as PDF, HTML, executable) to the server because 1) that is where we keep our results, and 2) I sometimes want to export as a script to run in batch mode or for some other reason. For the latter I need to export it locally and then upload it to the server.
