Description
I'm using ssh forwarding to run notebook remotely. Jupyter checkpoints the notebook periodically, but it is only saved to the remote machine. I have to back up manually from the browser to my local laptop.
Is there a way to automatically save to a local notebook at the same time?

Research direction
No files, tests, or entry points are named. Start by tracing notebook checkpoint behavior for an SSH-forwarded remote session and determine whether local and remote saving are supported. Done would require a verified way to save checkpoints to both locations.
