Double click feature not working on output cell

I was working on jupyter notebook and while the output cell was showing the logs, i tried using the double click feature to hide the output cell.
However, on double clicking the output cell, it only hides it for certain time.

It should hide the output cell until i explicitly click on it right? But on hovering anywhere on the screen the output cell again shows.

Reproduce the issue in Jupyter Notebook by displaying logs in an output cell, double-clicking to hide it, and then moving the pointer over the page. Trace the existing output-cell double-click and hover behavior; done means the output stays hidden until the user explicitly clicks it.
