Description

Per the discussion in #529, the /binder page should be represented on the homepage. How so is open to debate. One idea would be mimic the module style now used for JupyterLab and Jupyter Notebook.

Research direction

Start by reviewing the homepage, the /binder page, and discussion #529, then compare the existing JupyterLab and Jupyter Notebook module style. The work is done when an agreed Binder representation is added to the homepage; the design is not settled in this issue.
