question: possible to leave a window like :History open instead of collapsing after each selection?

QUESTION: Let's say I'm opening a project where I've previously closed vim/nvim. I love the :History command and have bound it to leader h But I've noticed after opening each buffer with the handy fzf history window closes each time. Anyway to *keep* it open so I can open all the files I want without having to invoke, h each time? If not would love to see this as a feature because I often need to open the same files after I close down nvim.

UNRELATED: It seems like :History lists a running list of *all* files listed across all sessions. Only way to limit to only my current session? Thanks!
