:Tags Vim(return):E55: Unmatched \)

What's confusing to me is that `:BTags` works great. Indeed, when I used the minimal config above, I was able to use `:Tags`. I'm not sure what the difference is here though, because when I remove all tag related plugins on my vimrc, the issue persists.

I'm hoping that someone can share some insight and help me debug this. I've spent the last couple days tweaking different things and I've not had much luck.
