# ConverseJs
it's basically simply an XMPP client so it could be used together with the prosody server that Jitsi (see also #56 for that) uses.

**PS:** converse.js supports End-to-end encryption, similar to Rocket Chat or Riot. Which might be relevant for some users because Slack, Mattermost and Zulip do **not** support e2e-encryption and therefore any hoster/admin can read private messages. So I'm not sure whether this might also be a worthful _tag_ that should be added.
