Research direction
The issue does not name any files, tests, or entry points. First clarify how interrupted multi-statement transactions should be resumed and which binlog position is expected, then inspect the MySQL binlog position and transaction-handling paths. Done means the correct resume position can be determined reliably after interruption, with a reproducible test or documented behavior.
