Summary: Applicant details page intermittently returns 502 Bad Gateway
Environment: Staging
Module: Applicants → Candidate Details
Severity: High
Priority: High
Status: New
Precondition:
User is logged in.
A job and applicant are available.
Steps to Reproduce:
Log in to EZScreen.
Navigate to Jobs.
Open the DevOps job.
Open the applicant Pratik Kasbe.
Refresh the applicant details page.
Repeat the refresh/navigation several times.
Observe the response.
Expected Result:
The applicant details page should load successfully every time, displaying the candidate’s score, skills, experience, qualifications, and screening progress.
Actual Result:
The page intermittently returns:
502 Bad Gateway
nginx/1.24.0 (Ubuntu)
**The issue is reproducible repeatedly.**
Additional Observation:
The application also displays:
Some services degraded
AI core services — resume scoring, JD parsing, or uploads may fail.
This suggests the issue may be related to backend/API or AI service availability, but the exact root cause needs developer investigation.
Impact:
HR/QA users cannot reliably open applicant details or review candidate screening results.
