Description
I like to use the explicit unit syntax, e.g. \SI{14}{\centi\metre}. However, my natural instinct when typing is always to write the words as they would be said out loud: \SI{14}{\centi\metres}. This invariably throws up an error. Is it possible to define \metres, \seconds, \kilogrammes etc. as synonyms to \metre, \second, \kilogramme, etc. respectively?
