Description

Research direction

Start by reproducing the report in MUD with the linked simdutf README, then measure its load time against the comparison apps mentioned in the issue. Profile the Markdown loading and rendering path to find the bottleneck. Done means the README opens substantially faster, with the improvement verified by repeat measurements.
