state command misses lines when triggered as ALT + S shortcut only

As seen here, I hit ALT+S and it shows state and the files that have been changed show up, but then seem to be immediately removed. But when I type "state" I get the correct output.

This may be related to https://github.com/joseluisq/gitnow/issues/38 but I struggle to understand that thread completely.

If the edits list is sufficiently long, they show up. It feels like it's getting overwritten by the prompt.. but it's just a standard stardock prompt.
