Description
Those sliders are useless, a margin on the right and the bottom would be nice, the whole UI should be polished

Create some templates (they have to be tagged `template`, the plugin installed etc.), and then use `Create new note from template` (or use a keyboard shortcut). Then the window appears, viz. the screenshot and my comments.

Research direction
Reproduce the dialog through “Create new note from template” or its keyboard shortcut, using templates tagged `template` with the plugin installed. Review the dialog shown in the issue and its sliders, then define and implement the requested right and bottom margins and broader UI polish; done means the template-selection window is usable without the reported layout problems.
