High cpu when running lite-server with a version of node through nvm

Before i begin i have found a couple old issues that had high cpu problems and i tried fixing this using those issues

Issue #8 - had no resolution as the user didnt respond
Issue #36 - i am running browser-sync 2.12.8 and i updated sublime up to the current version.

whenever i start lite-server for an angular app it destroys my cpu and i cant run anything else. And testing it on just static content is better but at times it will run at 200% cpu.

This only happens if i am using nvm to do my node version management. When i stop using nvm and run it from my normal node installation it runs fine.
