Description

When adding a 2nd character to a player who only had one, the character_gallery will display both at the same time, superimposed onto each other

Refreshing the page fixes the issue

Note: Going from two to one character will result in the index still being displayed

Research direction

Start by locating the character_gallery implementation and reproduce changing a player from one character to two, then back to one. Check the rendered character layers and index state after each transition without refreshing; done means characters no longer overlap and stale indexes are removed.
