Description
For the mail clients, the current way to get the provider configuration is to list the available configuration in https://autoconfig.{domain}/mail/config-v1.1.xml. It would be very convenient for mail clients to be able to use the same file for jmap protocol autodiscovery.
Could something be added to the recommendations?

Research direction
Start by reviewing the existing JMAP recommendations and the mail autoconfig format at https://autoconfig.{domain}/mail/config-v1.1.xml. Determine what a standardized JMAP autodiscovery entry would need to specify; the work is done when the recommendation is precise enough for mail clients and providers to follow consistently.
