Uploading images from the web - no resizing and no limitation applied, so getting stuck

Description
Chaya commented that the images uploaded from web sometimes get stuck and there is no error message.
Mendy checked and it seems that there is no limitation on the size of the image, and there are no error messages.
Please apply the same limitations to the web images as are applied when uploading images - max 5MB and messages when they are too large. Also resize?
