Description
At the beginning of the assignment, we're told that we're interested in whether someone is an "ever smoker". However, for question 5, we're asked to created a table of "smoking status" versus whether the person was told the benefit of giving up cigarettes. Since "current smoking status" is another variable available in the smoking table (SMQ040). Which variable should we use in Q5? Thanks!

Research direction
Review the assignment's opening definition of "ever smoker" and Question 5 alongside the smoking table's SMQ040 variable. Clarify which smoking-status variable Q5 intends to use, and update the assignment wording so the expected table is unambiguous.
