Description

I'd created an animation and saved the file.
I've tried to export it as gif, but it fails with an error: "Invalid file data".

If I do the same process with the web based version, it runs flawless.

Desktop:

  • OS: Arch Linux
  • Desktop Environment: KDE plasma 6.7.5
  • Browser Firefox
  • Browser Version 156.0
  • draw.io version 31.4.5

Research direction

Start by reproducing GIF export in the desktop version 31.4.5 on Arch Linux with the provided animation, then compare the same process in the web version. Done means the desktop export completes without the “Invalid file data” error.
