Research direction

No source file or test is named in the issue. Start by reproducing the failure with JFrog CLI 2.78.9 on Ubuntu using jf rt dl, a remote Nexus repository, and JFROG_CLI_TRANSITIVE_DOWNLOAD enabled; then trace the transitive-download path and its handling of the 400 response. Done means the remote Nexus artifact downloads through the CLI rather than requiring curl, with regression coverage added.
