App does not allow me to add a default task

As a user of CS2103 there may be spontaneous default tasks created that may not be reflected in the app considering it is an offline app. Therefore, should such a situation happen, I expect to be able to add a default task. However, I am not able to add a default task, which is cumbersome as I may forget to complete the important new default task.
