Description

Not sure if this is intentional or not. However when I enter a visa card number i can enter 3 digits more (total of 19) than should be allowed ? (16). Is there a reason for this?

This doesn't happen on mastercard numbers or amex etc.

Research direction

Start by reproducing the Visa card-number behavior on the demo site and tracing the card-number formatting path in the repository. Done means Visa input no longer accepts more than 16 digits while Mastercard and Amex formatting remain unchanged.
