Layout Customization Request

I would like the ability to customize the layout. For instance, instead of having the left panel divided into five sections for Status, Files, Local Branches, Commits, and Stash, I want to set the entire panel to focus solely on Files. This would provide a clearer view of the files I need to review, making it easier to see what I want to add to the current staging. This approach is similar to how VSCode operates, which I find very helpful. Additionally, I should be able to toggle the visibility of other sections with a key command. It would also be beneficial to customize the height of these sections, either by specifying a number of lines or a percentage of the window height for example, setting Local Branches to occupy 10 lines or 20% of the height.
