Getting stuck in lazygit

**Describe the bug**
`lazygit` ends up in a half-baked state and I can't quit.

**To Reproduce**
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
1. Go to the `Commits` pane
2. Press `` to filter by path
3. Type something in
4. Press `` to focus the matches
5. Press `m` to open the `merge` submenu
6. Press `` to exit the submenu
7. I'm stuck

**Expected behavior**
I'm not stuck

**Desktop (please complete the following information):**
- OS: `archlinux`
- Lazygit Version `unversioned`
- The last commit id if you built project from sources `e35ab3c5fe37340a624a0cd87b9e49fe27d369b0`

**Additional context**
I know one isn't supposed to press `m` in that context but my finger slipped.
