Description

Hi,

I would like to request this useful feature for the "Release Plugin" in the build step "After successful release build" to have a tagging option.

Most of the time, users don't want to tag every single build and when you have quite a few jobs say more than 50, it doesn't make sense to pollute the SCM Server with bogus tagging.

If we add this new step in the release plugin, then only the release build will be tagged according to the settings in the "After successful release build" step.

I am sure others will vote for it as well and will be able to use this feature.
