Research direction

Start by reproducing the AWS cloud credential save failure with Jenkins 2.265 and the latest ec2 plugin, recording the full error associated with the logging ID. Trace the credential-save request in the ec2-plugin source; done means AWS cloud credentials can be saved without the generic processing error.
