admin.TabularInline editing not working before saving

When I add a new TabularInline row inside the admin panel it doesn't work to instantly add text, I have to save once and then it works

Reproduce the problem by adding a new admin TabularInline row and entering text before the first save. Compare that behavior with the same row after saving, then verify that text entry works immediately and remains functional after the fix.
