EasyComplete giving vim/nvim version error at startup

I am getting an error at nvim startup (_EasyComplete requires vim version upper than 802 or nvim version upper than 0.4.0_).

However I am using Vim 8.2.2824 and nvim 0.5.0.

I updated the plugin this morning, and still have the issue. Not sure if it matters, but I am behind a corporate firewall...
