When you try to set a task to run every 40.minutes, it sets crontab to run on the 40 minute mark every hour. If you set every 20.minutes however, it runs every 20 minutes.

Research direction

Start by locating the code that translates every durations such as every 40.minutes into crontab expressions. Compare the generated schedules for 20-minute and 40-minute intervals, then add or update coverage for the 40-minute case and confirm the resulting crontab runs at the intended interval.
