"#" character in urls

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. "#" character in hyperlink url

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

It should read the whole url but instead it takes the part till it finds the
"#" character

Start by reproducing the issue with a hyperlink URL containing a "#" character, then trace where the URL is parsed in the reader. Done means the complete URL, including the portion after "#", is retained; no file or test is named in the issue.
