Research direction
No file or test is named. Start by tracing the Android implementation behind isHardwareDetected, hasPermission, and hasEnrolledFingerprints, then check the platform biometric APIs for a non-authentication lock or disabled-state signal. Done means the supported state is exposed or the limitation is documented.
