Update npm package version to fix "Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getBoundingClientRect' of null"

Greetings, your library is great and simple to use. Are there any plans to update npm package version to fix ```Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getBoundingClientRect' of null``` bug?
I know previously there was a solution posted that involves forking a commit that contains the fix, however it would be nice to pull from the official source for this library.

The issue names no files, tests, or entry points. First inspect the repository's package and release configuration and identify the previously referenced fix; done means the official npm package contains that fix and no longer triggers the reported getBoundingClientRect error.
