Can this plugin be used with a custom express server?

This might be more of a question, I didn't find any answers though.
In the README, you're suggesting to run "hexo server -d". I'm hosting my hexo blog with a small Express server I wrote. Since there's no `admin` directory I could tell Express to host, I can't reach any admin-UI.
Any ideas on how to solve that?
