Blender 2.74 - not working for me

I can get the examples to work, but not the plugin.

Here's what I get from my terminal (using Linux):

So, either getting the plugin working or an example
of (perhaps Example 9) would help.

Otherwise I'm trying to figure out the offsets and
rotations from inside Blender absent the plugin.

Start by reproducing the report in Blender 2.74 on Linux and inspect the listed addon files, including braid.py, braidingawesome.py, test-braid.py, and vefm_270.py. Determine whether the plugin can load or whether Example 9 can create the Pentadent 2 model; completion should provide a working plugin or a confirmed working example.
